Our client approached KHD following 2 failed schemes by other Architects to replace their 2-bedroom bungalow. Sited in Goddington, the bungalow was not fit for purpose with damp issues and inefficient layout. KHD successfully obtained planning permission with a high quality design that overcame initial officer concerns through a robust and well-articulated case at committee. The design uses the materiality of its neighbours and reinterprets them into a contemporary design which is set to make a spectacular addition to this sleepy residential street.
